Eileen Murphy Farrance 1925 – 2021
Eileen passed away peacefully on Saturday March 27, 2021 in Alexandria, Ontario
Loving wife of Robert Farrance (Bob-1983), mother of Gail Farrance (Henry Woodings), and Debra Farrance
Grandmother of Kellie Woodings (Yves Ranger), Robyn Woodings (Derek McLean), Sarah-Anne Woodings (Garnet Carmichael) and Amber Pye.
Great- grandmother of Austin, Faith (Matthew Zovko) and Jacob Ranger as well as Henry and Shivauna Carmichael
Good friend and snowbird travelling companion of Muriel Purcell for many years.
Predeceased by all her family of origin, grandchild Alice and kindred spirit niece Monique.
Eileen lived most of her life in her hometown of Rawdon, Quebec. She was a passionate, excellent and avid golfer, card player and the life of many parties.
Due to declining health in 2011 Eileen decided to move into the family home in Ontario, where we were fortunate enough to have her with us for eight years.
Further health issues in 2019 required another change. Eileen spent the last two years of her life at the Palace, where she was given excellent and loving care by all staff; as were her family during the final days.
Due to covid restrictions a private family funeral will take place March 31. Eileen will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Bob.
A post-pandemic celebration of Eileen’s life will be held in Rawdon.
